New this year: SOCIAL TABLES
We are offering discounted tickets for guests who choose to forego private table seating. Our social tables are designed for guests to make new friends and celebrate together!
Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to departure time. Due to Coast Guard regulations, guests are not allowed to board the yacht before the designated time. Early guests can enjoy the picnic tables set up on the marina dock.
Your cruise ticket includes cost of the meal, as well as tea, water, water, lemonda, and coffee. Any sodas or alcoholic drinks are not included and are available for purchase on the cruise with cash or credit card.
A 15% Gratuity has been automatically charged to the total of your ticket printing. Any drinks purchased at the bar do not have gratuity added and that will be left up to you.
Where Should I Park?
Our address is 956 Volunteer Landing Lane, Knoxville, TN 37915 (behind Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse). If you are looking at Ruth’s Chris, parking can be found to the left in the far end of the parking lot under the bridge. Please park in the spaces that are marked for Adventure Center or Volunteer Landing Marina. From there, you will walk towards Ruth’s Chris. If you are looking at the restaurant, there is a cement walkway to the right that will lead you down to the water. We recommend allowing a little extra time for parking/walking to the boat.
What Should I Wear?
For gentlemen, we recommend dressy casual attire such as nice slacks/khakis and a collared shirt. For women, dressy casual attire such as a dress/skirt and a nice blouse. You may find that some guests are dressed more formally, especially those celebrating special occasions. However, attire varies from dark or dressy jeans to the more formal cocktail apparel. T-shirts, casual shorts, athletic shoes and flip-flops are discouraged.
What Happens if it Rains?
The Volunteer Princess sails rain or shine. Both levels of the yacht are fully enclosed and climate controlled. In the very rare case of severe weather conditions or upon the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, we will remain dockside.
Is Smoking Allowed?
Smoking is allowed on the outside lower decks only.
Can we meet the Captain and visit the Pilot House?
Of course! We encourage guests to explore the boat and get the full yachting experience. If you’re friendly, the Captain may even let you drive 😉
What will be served for Dinner?
Included in your ticket price is the cost of your three-course dinner. This will include a Caesar salad, your main entrée served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, breadbaskets and chef’s choice dessert. Your main entrée picks are; chicken wellington, pork medallions, or salmon. If you have not already picked your main entrée selections please do so at least 48 hours prior to your cruise departure time.
